Events - Nov. 2004 and prior

Nov 2004:
Reliable Miles H. and Groovy Andrew R. were both BACK for this year's MLK day parade in Mesa. And, we were also joined by Tommy Z., Matthew E., Zach P., Cory S., Wes D., Holly H., Patrick H., Avery S., Ryan T., Kevin M., Colin C. Yes, that's 13 students! Some of us rode down in the district van, and had lunch at McDonald's afterwards. Great times!

April 2004:

Reliable Miles was joined in the Cave Creek parade by Michael, Zach, Andrew, Lynn and Arizuni's Rhees. Thanks to all who joined in the ride! The route was long, the crowd was thick and wild, and all of us enjoyed the sun! A reporter took some pictures, so check your local paper.

The St. Patrick's Day Parade should leave you feeling green with envy if you did not attend, because we had a blast even without you! The parade turned out to be 2 1/4 miles! (One Miles H., and one mile and a quarter in distance.) Speaking of Miles, he hasn't missed a single parade all year long! Any creative ideas on how I can reward him for his support?! Newer member, Kody K., was also there and was filmed for the channel 3 news! (The day after his appearance in the Arizona Republic!) Our group was very small, so we were again pleased when Dave, Athena and the dog showed up to join us with the trick handlebars and juggling pins. The next parade on the agenda is going to be the BEST of the year so PLEASE DON'T MISS IT! And congrats to those of you mentioned in the March 12th article in the AZ Republic featuring our club. I have extra copies if you need one, so just let me know.

The Martin Luther King Day Parade in Mesa was an enormous success! We broke our attendance record for the year with a great turn-out. Thanks much to Miles, Tommy, Zach, Andrew, Thomas, Matt, Mark, Tyler, Michael and Jeff!!! Yep, that's TEN uni club students who came! Thanks for making it a great day. The weather was perfect and the crowd loved us!

2003:

Thanks to Miles, Tyler and Tommy the Thanksgiving Day Parade was a lot of fun! We were also happy to be joined by John, Dave, Athena and Gilligan (dog) of Arizuni.

The cancer relay benefit on the night of November 14th was a giant success, with so many current and former AN uni club members showing up that I can't even list them all. Thanks for coming! We had a load of fun, while helping to fight cancer.

Thanks to Miles and Mason for showing up for the Mesa Veteran's Day parade on November 11th! Fortunately we had a few AZ uni club members to increase our group size, and we had a lot of fun. But it would have been even better with YOU there. If you can find a way to attend and support our next parade, we would love to have you join us!!

The Sun City Parade on October 25th was a big success. Thanks to Andrew, Tommy, Cory, Zach, Miles, Tony and Gus for showing up! We were also joined by members of Arizuni, and a tall giraffe. We were very thirsty at the end of the parade, but all of us had a blast!
